Review Fisher-Price Roarin’ Rainforest Jumperoo

When the lovely folk at Fisher-Price got in touch and asked us whether we’d be interested in reviewing a Roarin’ Rainforest Jumperoo for H-Bear, I was rather excited. You see, we never owned a Jumperoo when Busby was a baby, and I always found myself curious when we visited friends with one, or saw one pop up on social media.

The Jumperoo seems to be one of those baby products every parent has a love-hate relationship with; on the one hand they’re fantastic for entertaining your baby while you get on with exciting things such as chores or work (or just consumption of a hot cup of tea)… Oh and did I mention babies LOVE them?! But on the other hand, it’s a large piece of baby equipment in your house for such a fleeting moment in your baby’s life.

The Fisher-Price Roarin’ Rainforest Jumperoo is a new addition to the Jumperoo family, and is due to go on sale this January. With a 360° rotating seat, this fab new Jumperoo allows your baby to explore a variety of toys and activities.

Both children have loved exploring the Jumperoo; H-Bear from the fun tiger seat (which is machine washable) within the Jumperoo, and Busby from the outside. The continuous music mode has proved a favourite with both, which plays a plethora of nursery rhymes. Busby is definitely more than a little envious of H-Bear’s new toy…

The Jumperoo has a variety of noises in sound mode when H-Bear bounces and moves. This captivates him, and he can usually be found grinning like a loon while he prepares to bounce again!

H-Bear’s favourite activity on the Jumperoo is the spinning lion, which seems to keep him transfixed.

The Jumperoo is a toy that grows with your baby, as it easily adjusts to three different heights. It is suitable from when baby holds head up unsupported until they are walking (so 4-5 months until 12 months-ish).

The Jumperoo isn’t a small piece of kit, and it does take up quite a bit of space, so wouldn’t be suitable for a small living space. Our family room is a sizeable room, but it still dominates. However, the frame does come apart very easily, which makes storage and portability simple.

Despite the large size, it has been a huge hit in our household, and if you have the space, I would definitely recommend the Roarin’ Rainforest Jumperoo – especially if you have a Velcro Baby – for 10 minutes of hot caffeine and dishwasher unloading.

The Fisher-Price Roarin’ Rainforest Jumperoo retails at £119.99. You can find retailers and more information on the Fisher-Price website.
